Job Summary
The Executive Director is an operations leader who has responsibility for the delivery of services to a sub-region or set of clients with a focus on strategy execution and client relations. The position achieves successful clinical and financial outcomes by leveraging shared services to drive business and client/patient service levels. The Executive Director collaborates with their Clinical and Network/Provider Engagement counterparts to manage overall operations and performance. The position also analyzes data, identifies trends, determines root cause issues, develops work plans, organizes cross-functional teams, and develops quality output for internal and external constituents to achieve sub-regional goals.


Responsibilities
  • Drive the overall financial, operational, and quality performance for the care management delivery for a given sub-region or set of clients.
  • Build relationships with client organizations and provide high levels of services.
  • Partner with Director of Network/Provider Engagement and Director of Clinical Operations to provide leadership and direction for all sub-region-level care management staff to ensure maximum colleague engagement and productivity through indirect oversight.
  • Develop and execute on key strategic initiatives within a sub-region. These initiatives will include quality, cost, and service metrics, assisting clients with product and service expansion.
  • Deliver successful financial performance in collaboration with the Regional or Market President through management and development of operational metrics, budgets, and the clinical program delivery.
  • Foster and develop the naviHealth culture among colleagues promoting an atmosphere of engagement, trust, and open dialogue.
  • Ensure strict compliance with federal and state regulations and company policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Build effective relationships with and hold accountable functions delivered to the sub-region/contract through shared services.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; MBA preferred
  • At least 10 years of relevant work experience required, including at least 5 years of management experience within clinical operations
  • Leadership experience in a clinical operations environment and management of a significant P&L
  • Strong focus on culture and employee engagement
  • History of building and implementing service models that add value to physician practices
  • Proven ability to interact with and influence clients at all levels
  • Entrepreneurial mindset geared toward the creation, execution and continuous improvement of a new function from the ground up
  • Intense intellectual curiosity and an ability to view old problems with a fresh perspective
  • Ability to attract, manage, and develop staff of superlative quality
  • Excellent written, computer, and oral communication skills
