Position Summary:
Directs all policy, procedure and operational aspects of warehousing and distribution operations. Ensures accurate, timely and cost effective management of inventory and finished goods. Utilizes ERP system to monitor and track inventory and identify and resolve issues. Manages inventory control, shipping and receiving, warehouse and fulfillment operations and maintenance of fleet, equipment and facilities. Reports to top management. Directly and indirectly manages staff on multiple shifts. Creates and implements strategies and specific objectives and develops budgets/policies/procedures. Manages and ensures achievement of cost center budget and is comfortable working within a structured quality management system business environment.
Requirements:
Deep knowledge of warehousing, distribution and/or fulfillment operations. 5+ years proven managerial experience.
