Hilldrup has an immediate need for an entrepreneurial, motivated, self-starter with exceptional interpersonal and negotiating skills to join our team of sales professionals. The ideal candidate will be strategic and results-driven, with the ability to effectively develop and execute prospecting/sales plans.

Candidates must develop and exhibit a strong commitment to promoting Hilldrup?s corporate moving, storage and relocation services to large and small businesses in specific territories, as well as be adept at building solid and lasting business relationships that provide for optimal revenue generation.

The selected candidate will report to the Senior Vice-President of Sales and Client Services.

Specific job responsibilities include:

  • Executing customer-focused sales strategies that will support the achievement of individual , department and company revenue and profit goals;
  • Prospecting, selling and closing of new business within Hilldrup?s corporate global moving services line;
  • Managing the customer sales cycle to include: communicating with customers, coordination of customer services with Hilldrup branch and/or corporate employees and customer satisfaction and quality control efforts;
  • Adhering to established sales techniques with a strong focus on ethical business dealings, consistent with Hilldrup?s values;
  • Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of relocation services and customers’ issues and needs;
  • Operating in a manner that ensures greater client retention and the highest levels of customer satisfaction;
  • Travel up to 25% of the time within designed territory.

  • Utilizing social media and technology to promote Hilldrup and self.
  • Networking to promote Hilldrup and obtain new prospects

Minimum Job Qualifications

  • Four-year degree from an accredited university, preferably with a concentration in marketing, sales and/or business;
  • One plus years of B2B sales experience;
  • Self-motivated and comfortable with autonomous work;
  • Able to generate new business and maintain existing relationships independently.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Outstanding financial and business acumen;
  • Outstanding critical thinking and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to effectively develop and maintain working relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
