Job Summary

Leads Risk functions and teams responsible for planning and executing strategy, analytics, operations, policies, and processes to manage and minimize Sprint’s fraud driven risks. Leads conception, development, and delivery of best practices for fraud prevention, detection, and recovery. Drives strategies, and improvements of operational effectiveness and efficiencies including analytical modeling and insights and utilization of tools and automation. Builds an analytic, proactive and profit maximizing approach to limiting fraud costs. Collaborates, with peers, aligns with, and leverages expertise and capabilities across the broader credit risk functional areas to increase effectiveness and efficiency across credit risk functions. Aligns with Sprint Operational and Sales management and influences go-to-market programs and decisions to proactively identify issues, risks, and opportunities. Ensures horizontal alignment of fraud driven credit risk management across the organization including with Customer Experience, Sales, Product SCM, Legal, Corp Security, Internal Audit, etc. Is effective influencing executive leadership.

  • Extensive fraud management experience (industries may include similar mass market consumer product companies including banking, financial services, internet retail or management consulting)
  • Strong competencies in architecture of strategies, analytical modeling/insights, automation, and operational improvements
  • Executive leadership competencies to direct and lead sizeable local and virtual teams comprised of exempt managers/supervisors and professionals and skilled non-exempt individuals.


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and ten years related work experience or fourteen years related work experience post high school
  • Five years progressive management experience
