Director Enterprise Platform Management (EPM)

The CTO Program Management Director is a position that is part of an enterprise CTO team. The Director will help lead the cross-company coordination and management for the strategic, enterprise-wide Intelligent Healthcare Platform (IHP). The Director will align closely and work in partnership with multiple teams, Business, Product Management, Enterprise Architecture, Software Engineering/ R&D, Technical Operations, Client Onboarding, Client Services, Sales, and Marketing, on the holistic success of the IHP program. The EPM Director will align all of these teams to the IHP vision and value. The Director will drive planning and approach decisions, strategic coordination of technical and business roadmaps, critical dependencies, successes and execution challenges.

The Intelligent Healthcare Platform (IHP) is a shared, cloud-based, enterprise collaboration platform that offers a suite of modern, standardized, reusable components, technologies and capabilities, with the goal of promoting innovation, best practices, and consistency across the Change Healthcare portfolio. By connecting, migrating and leveraging enterprise-grade networks, data platforms, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, security, user experiences, and APIs, CHC products remain focused on customers and delivering a better experience, higher quality and greater value.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively manage program components including opportunity identification, planning, and coordination of platform approaches and deliverables across all teams involved in the program.
  • Maintain visibility, communicate and educate on key program component roadmaps inclusive of all technology and operational work.
  • Work closely and in alignment with senior leadership across the enterprise. Actively manage executive sponsor, steering committee, and stakeholder expectations. Empower their associated teams to fully participate in the IHP.
  • Actively manage and/ or mentor senior-level team members also driving program components.
  • Measure, monitor, and ensure the health of the program components from financial, dependency, risk & mitigation, and schedule perspectives.
  • Actively seek out and problem solve for barriers / challenges / opportunities. Add value across teams.
  • Maintain healthy collaboration between all disciplines including Business, Product Management, Enterprise Architecture, Strategy, Software Engineering/ R&D, Technical Operations, Client Onboarding, Client Services, Sales, and Marketing.

Qualifications:

  • At least 8 years of healthcare industry and/or program management experience
  • Organized, self-directed, efficient and able to manage complex projects in a timely manner
  • Strong leadership and collaboration qualities enabling and leading multiple teams and initiatives in concert
  • Strong sense of accountability and bias to action
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize qualitative and quantitative information, form opinions with corresponding recommendations, and present the results to key stakeholders including executive leadership
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Strong executive presence: comfortable and familiar with presenting to executive audiences
  • Experience with delivery of an enterprise product line using Agile-Scrum development methodologies a plus
  • Successful track record in collaborating across multiple organizational functions and driving cross-functional initiatives
  • Experience in the Healthcare software or IT industry
  • Willingness to travel 10%
  • Minimum Requirements (Required):

    8+ years of experience in Program Management

    Critical Skills (Required):

  • 4+ years of experience in managing Healthcare IT Software Initiatives
  • 4+ years of experience in building business relationships and partnership; working with internal or external stakeholders
  • 5+ years of experience with analyzing and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative information, forming opinions with corresponding recommendations, and presenting the results to key stakeholders including executive leadership
  • 5+ of experience with independently managing multiple complex Projects/Initiatives/Business Use Cases with competing priorities and deadlines within a timely manner
  • Experience with Agile Framework/Methodologies
  • Experience with process improvement and change management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Must have dynamic personality and be conformable working in an unstructured/fast-paced environment

Additional Knowledge and Skills :

o Experience with cloud-based products (AWS, GCP, Azure) preferred

o Experience with software development tools and product roadmap software preferred

o Scaled Agile Framework® (SAFe) experience strongly preferred

o Project Management Certification is nice to have

o Successful track record in collaborating across multiple organizational functions and driving cross-functional initiatives

o Strong sense of accountability and bias to action

Education (Required):

Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, health informatics, healthcare or marketing or related field required
