The Creative Project Manager provides day-to-day project support for the Studio team and should have a background in traffic procedures as well as scheduling using project management software. The Creative Project Manager will be responsible for managing the workflow of print projects throughout the internal agency and Offshore creative team. The position will bridge communication between the Project Management and Studio team to ensure projects are delivered on time and completed correctly. The Creative Project Manager will also assist the Studio Manager with day-to-day tasks and be the point of escalation for Studio issues in their absence.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of jobs that are assigned to the Studio by following up with partners to ensure that jobs have complete information, and client expectations and deadlines are met.
- Partners with Project Managers and negotiates on behalf of the Studio to provide adequate time allotted to develop and produce requests within established client SLA.
- Facilitate workflow of all projects through the Studio to ensure resource availability and allocation.
- Be main contact to Offshore team for all project needs
- Expedite all rush jobs
- Know current job status, location and completion time for all jobs;
- Work from client location periodically to build strong working relationship with Project Managers and Creative team members
- Revise and maintain team SOPs
- Actively participate in process development, staff and cross-functional meetings
- Adhere to existing processes and recommend process changes based upon need
- Assess process and procedure compliance
- Provide leadership and training to staff when needed
- Track daily time using time-tracking software
- Document traffic and artist challenges to assist with team development and training
- Act as primary point of contact for escalating IT and systems issues
- Provide excellent customer service at all client interactions

- 5+ years agency experience
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to analyze alternative solutions and prioritize quickly within tight deadlines

- Ability to interact and work well with a cross-functional and multi-site team

- Retail signage experience a plus
- Advanced knowledge of client branding
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Proficiency in Mac OS platform
Basic knowledge of prepress and printing processes a plus
