Position description
The Director is responsible to provide effective business management and support to all professional education products and services. This position works within a matrix organization to provide consistent, effective and efficient business services for professional education including finance, marketing and sales, contracting, compliance, reporting/analytics, commercial support, audit, customer support, and IT platforms. Manages all personnel and operations for the business support unit, and ensures seamless, integrated cross-functional service in support of live courses, accreditation services, content and curriculum development, global services, digital products such as podcasts and online courses. Assure business processes that meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and customers. The Director will apply quality management principles and engage in data driven continuous process improvement to enhance the delivery of high value services to stakeholders with development of metrics for each business area.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in business, healthcare administration, marketing, technology or similar degree required. The successful Business Director for Professional Education will be an enterprising and entrepreneurial individual with a demonstrated ability to collaborate intentionally within a complex, multi-tiered organization. Minimum 5 years’ experience in business operations roles. Ability to successfully communicate, educate, motivate and lead a business unit in driving solutions to meet business goals for the School of Continuous Professional Development. Ability to develop and execute strategic plans and programs. Strong interpersonal skills; strong oral and written communication skills. Experience with financial modeling, systems configuration, business analytics, and project management is preferred.

Compensation Detail
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum salary every 2 weeks is approx $4,119.20, based on a full-time position.
