How You’ll Contribute : This position is part of and comes with the support of a dynamic HR team. The Benefit & Wellness Manager will be the resident expert in all things benefits & wellness, ensuring that we are taking care of our amazing employees:
Benefit Administration, Design and Review: Manage enrollment, renewal, and delivery of benefits; Manage retirement plans; Develop new communication plans and resources that assist employees in making maximum use of benefit programs and improve their health; Benefit and wellness program management and design; Manage competitive benefit programs that strengthen the organization’s ability to attract and retain employees and deliver desired results to the organization; Manage full spectrum of Open Enrollment, including renewal meetings, employee communications and messaging.
Wellness Program Management: Oversee and lead Care Dimensions’ Wellness Committee and Employee Wellness program “ Your Wellbeing”; Optimize value of robust wellness programming to health plan results, productivity, organizational performance and participant quality of life; Implement and manage engagement initiatives to enhance the participation in and value from health benefits, wellness initiatives, other benefits and financial programs for a diverse workforce; Develop and administer education and outreach programs to foster financial literacy and security for employees.
What You’ll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in employee benefits and/or HR administration. CEBS Certification or other benefits related certification a plus; plan strategy and design experience a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present to groups of people as well as discuss complex ideas interpersonally.
Demonstrated ability to bring programs from concept to successful implementation. Leads by example; establishes clear expectations and sets the direction and priorities for team/vendors.
Knowledge of COBRA, ERISA, HIPAA, FMLA, ADAAA, Section 125, Affordable Care Act and related state and federal regulations preferred.
Demonstrated intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment in support of organizational objectives.
Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize, coordinate and simultaneously maintain multiple projects with high level of quality and productivity.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work with minimal supervision, take initiative and make independent decisions.
Flexibility to travel to sites within the organization’s service area, which may include night and weekend events or travel.
