Position Summary & Responsibilities:
  • Regional Management- Participates with management staff to develop goals, plans, priorities, and procedures for Regional operations. Promotes awareness of agency programs and services by providing guidance to Operations, Fiscal/Budget, Facility Manager and IT Supervisor
  • -Facilities Management- Directs the development, management, and maintenance of Regional Service Centers by establishing operating procedures. Uses management systems and tools to monitor RSC to determine if changes are needed and implements necessary changes.

    -Personnel Management- Coordinates with Asst. Regional Director of Programs and Regional Personnel Services Director to ensure standards are developed and implemented to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of staff to ensure services are delivered timely and accurately.

    -Emergency Management and KC Region Coop- Provides oversight and leadership for Emergency and COOP regional responses. Oversight of regional safety planning.

Minimum Qualifications:

Three years of experience in planning, organizing, supervising and directing the work of a department, program or agency. Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency. Must maintain security clearance throughout employment


Preferred Qualifications
:

  • A broad knowledge of agency programs, successful experience in financial and human resource management and demonstrated leadership ability are preferred.

Security Clearance: A background check (KBI – criminal background, welfare fraud, driver’s license and Child/Adult Abuse and Neglect Central Registry) is required for all positions with the Department for Children and Families (DCF) as a condition of employment, which may include fingerprinting and FBI check. Security clearance must be obtained prior to employment with DCF.
