Wellness Manager with experience in an ALF needed in Sebring
- · Provide guidance & assistance to consultant pharmacist during med reviews & chart reviews.
- · Delegate responsibilities to resident care staff to comply with ALF standards.
- · Assure that medication problems are communicated to primary care & in-house physicians & the administrator as needed via COC tools.
- · Oversee work schedules & staffing to ensure sufficient coverage & provide for same.
- · Prioritize resident needs & work as a team with other departments.
- · Evaluate new residents & develop service plan within hours after admission.
- · Ensure that all meds are administered appropriately by res care staff & in accordance with facility policy & ALF standards.
- · Review monthly resident care service plans, MRO and ADL reports with evidence of written/oral feedback to those preparing reports.
- · Responsible for ensuring that all physician orders are signed off and followed in a timely & responsible fashion.
- · Under the supervision of the Administrator, as well as supervision of an LNS, RN, provide treatment to residents.
- · Be available via phone for consultation on resident nursing/medical problems after normal work hours.
- · Be available to facility Administrator, if necessary, during times of disasters.
- · Function as a resident care aide or med tech as needed.
- · Ensure that resident care staff follow resident activity schedules & assist in getting residents to scheduled activities.
- · Must be friendly, courteous, kind & respectful in dealing with residents, families, and visitors at all time.
