We are looking for a Vice President – User Experience Design to join us. You will serve as the leader of User Experience (UX) Design team. Ultimately, your work will impact our mission to become agriculture’s most valued financial partner.
Responsibilities
- Craft UX strategy to align user-centered design with business strategy, product goals and evolving customer/market needs.
- Align UX activities to create continuous flow in alignment to iterative/incremental product discovery and delivery.
- Lead the creation of meaningful measurements and metrics to inform design evolution.
- Responsively develop capability to serve needs across all aspects of the UX Design discipline, including research, prototyping, testing, information architecture, visual and interaction design.
- Dynamically align UX team members (as individuals or UX project teams) with product teams, ensuring an appropriate UX path is established to meet business/product objectives and milestones.
- Establish UX Team routines that build upon existing practices to champion user-focus designs in an agile environment.
- Attract, select and mentor team members.
- Serve as a player/coach within the design team.
Minimum Qualifications
- Ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Engineering, Industrial/Communication Design, Computer Science, Fine Arts, Design or related disciplines or comparable relevant experience.
- Experience working in responsive and mobile technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Five or more years of experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, information architect or similar role preferred.
- Five or more years of experience in team leadership preferred.
