We are seeking a talented individual for the role of Vice President, Sales Market Leader who will have oversight of a market specific sales team. Additionally, this role will have oversight of the sales strategy to drive pipeline and revenue generation for this market and will be responsible for executing these strategies to achieve team financial targets.

Essential Responsibilities:

Communicate corporate and regional mission, goals, and activities

Establish strategic objectives based on executive direction to achieve sales targets by developing new accounts and driving expansion across existing accounts.

Implement strategies to achieve short and long-term business objectives
-
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
-
Train and develop employees in sales skills, product knowledge, teamwork, time and territory management, competitive knowledge, and career goal pursuits

Provide ongoing feedback/coaching and regularly scheduled performance reviews
-
Implement corrective actions when necessary

Assist employees with individual development plans

Work with Compensation to develop sales contests and incentives to drive performance

Own and hit/exceed annual targets within assigned territory and accounts

Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
On a weekly basis, you will:

Direct and motivate personnel to achieve unit and revenue goals.

Accurately develop and manage forecasts on a weekly and monthly cadence to meet and exceed quotas

Track sales team metrics and report data to leadership on regular basis by leading weekly and/or monthly meetings with sales team and leadership

Qualifications : Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Previous experience as a sales executive, sales manager, or sales and marketing director
- Ability to run a dynamic sales team in a highly Consultative Selling/sales cycle environment
- Proven sales experience, meeting or exceeding targets
- Possess a high level of solutions and technical knowledge of our product/portfolio offerings
- Expert level understanding of customer/industry climate and trends
- Demonstrated ability to develop client focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Excellent coaching skills; ability to observe, evaluate, and give meaningful feedback
- Ability to provide deep analysis and leverage data to drive decisions
- Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
- Experience and advance skill using SalesForce
- Experience in the Healthcare payer space
Work Conditions and Physical Demands:
- Primarily sedentary work in a general office
- Ability to travel
- Ability to communicate and exchange information
- Ability to comprehend and interpret documents and data
- Requires occasional standing, walking, lifting, and moving objects (up to 10 lbs.)
- Requires manual dexterity to use computer, telephone and peripherals
- May be required to work extended hours for special business needs
- May be required to travel at least 50% of time based on business needs
Minimum Education:
- Bachelors College Degree or combination of education and experience
Minimum Related Work Experience:
- 10 years diversified leadership, planning, communication, organization and people motivation
- 5 years of direct sales experience
