The Vice President, Organizational Effectiveness, reports to the Senior Vice President, Organizational Effectiveness, and has the responsibility to provide direction, support and oversight for activities related to quality improvement and assurance, patient safety, high reliability, value-based care delivery, and regulatory compliance. Through passion, energy, and progressive thinking, the Vice President will advance RWJUH by driving quality improvement, partnering with leaders and physicians to ensure the best outcomes, utilizing information systems and tools to analyze quality, setting appropriate hospital goals as indicators of quality, service, and cost-effectiveness.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of a Masters degree in nursing or a related clinical field required; Doctoral degree or above preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the quality management and patient safety arena. Certification as a healthcare quality professional or patient safety professional preferred. Extensive experience and proven track record with quality improvement initiatives in a value-based performance model in an acute care hospital setting. LEAN Six Sigma experience/certification preferred Experience with implementation of patient safety and high reliability organization models in an acute care hospital setting preferred Extensive experience utilizing Excel, Powerpoint, and other electronic tools used by quality professionals
