Chelsea Senior Living is growing and we are looking for an experienced Vice President of Sales and Marketing to join our team. Qualified candidate most have five (5) plus years or more of hands-on senior living sales/marketing experience; start-up property experience a plus. Flexibility with travel as it relates to Chelsea properties in NJ & NY. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Supervisory experience is essential. Expertise with lead database system(s) management.
SUMMARY:
The Vice President of Marketing is responsible for her specific communities and other corporate responsibilities. Other responsibilities include website maintenance, adhere to the budget, marketing materials, orversight of PR.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
iUnderstands, embraces and works toward the successful achievement of the mission of Chelsea
iRelays all information to VP of Sales
iVisits specific communities weekly
iWorks on marketing plans and ensures specific community DCR’s follow it.
iDevelops outreach programs
iEffectively and efficiently maintains Vigilan and REPS
iKeeps marketing contract book up to date. All contracts are run by the VP of Sales
iMaintains that the PR department stays within budget and ads and collateral are proof read
iEnsures databases are kept up to date
iHolds weekly update meeting with VP of Sales to go over all pertinant information on communities
iPreviews model rooms at site visits
iFills out site visit form so everyone is in agreement on what was covered and expectations.
iTakes VP of Sales on site visits monthy, and Tom’s River bi-weekly
iAssumes leadership role in networking, special events, group presentations and referral development programs.
iTrains department heads and other appropriate staff on conducting tours and responding to inquiry calls.
iDevelops monthly marketing plan using master marketing plan as a guide. Strives to meet predetermined monthly goals.
iMaintains up-to-date files of all advertisements and pertinent articles that appear in the media.
iMaintains an up-to-date awareness of all competitors’ marketing efforts and census.
iMaintains an awareness of media coverage and brings pertinent press articles or broadcasts to the attention of management. Identifies opportunities for positive media exposure.
iParticipates in the planning and coordination of special events, community workshops and promotions as needed in communties you oversee
iIs responsible for participation in the coordination of all marketing mailings and collateral.
iActs as a liaison between the community and the VP of Sales
iSupervises day to day sales operations and the activities
i Participates in the ongoing process of Quality Improvement to evaluate and improve upon the service and standards of The Chelsea.
i Ensures all concerierges are trained quarterly.
