In a Nutshell: Provide leadership, coordination and direction to IT analysts, engineers and help desk staff with the implementation, operation and ongoing maintenance of Vibrant technology solutions. Assist senior leadership with forming overall organization and technology centric visions and strategies. Provide leadership in cascading visions and connecting dots with key projects, systems, infrastructure and technology services that are key elements in achieving Vibrant strategies, goals and operational SLAs. Maintain high levels of satisfaction for technology solutions with our Vibrant members and internal team members.
The Nitty Gritty
IT Operations Oversight & Management: Collaborate with other IT leaders and Compliance to build and maintain a common set of IT department policies and procedures. Assist with IT audits, and regulatory exams in collaboration with other IT leaders. Contribute and collaborate with other IT leaders in Vibrant ITIL compliant service design, service transition/change control and service delivery. Own and manage Tickets, Requests, Problems, Configuration Changes and New Software Releases and updates assigned to the infrastructure analysts and help desk roles using ITIL best practices while meeting or exceeding documented SLA targets. Own the 24x7x365 support of internal and external data centers, cloud technology deployments and networking infrastructure used at Vibrant.
Project Initiation and Scheduling: Work with senior leadership to define project priorities, requirements and completion dates. Meet corresponding deadlines while mitigating significant risks, resource constraints and technical factors affecting on-time delivery. Provide leadership, technical assistance and oversight to IT Operations team along the way to ensure successful completion of projects, tasks and ongoing operational SLAs. Responsible for updating and distributing project schedules, defining team roles and providing communications to key organization wide stakeholders interacting with IT projects and services. Responsible for ensuring a systematic approach to IT centric projects and driving technical excellence with on-going IT operations. Lead infrastructure new projects, ongoing rework or ongoing maintenance activities related to technology infrastructure deployed across Vibrant. Own the management and deployment of scheduled infrastructure replacement programs to maintain the ongoing reliability and availability of Vibrant technology solutions.
Vendor Relationships: Work with senior leadership to manage and foster productive vendor partnerships that result in high performing and efficient technology solutions for our members and internal team members. Define and implement highly accountable frameworks and SLA’s to drive overall vendor satisfaction and value for Vibrant and its members. Own and lead vendor relationships for all infrastructure technologies deployed across Vibrant in conjunction with overall vendor management and ERM processes. Manage and be the focal point for technical communications to Vibrant departments with ongoing or unresolved vendor issues.
Aggressive Coaching: The capability of the IT department is directly proportional to the caliber of its people. This leadership role will nurture a collaborative environment focused on improving IT department performance while continuously developing the skills of their team. Lead direct reports in understanding and implementing Vibrant visions and strategies as they relate to infrastructure, networking and database systems used across Vibrant. Assess resource and training requirements of the IT infrastructure and help desk teams to build capacity and expertise to meet the ongoing needs of Vibrant.
Vibrant Innovation: Work collaboratively across the organization to define new concepts, processes and innovations that will help Vibrant to be a more highly trusted, accurate, timely and easier to do business with financial institution. Take a leadership role in providing status and communications to lines of business for outstanding issues related to infrastructure or technology systems at Vibrant.
Increase Reliability and Reduce Noise: Actively work to transform technology solutions to generate more member and user delight and less negative feedback and internal tickets. Responsible for delivering continuous enhancements, efficiency gains and ongoing operational support for technology infrastructure deployed across Vibrant.
Cross-functional: Work closely with the VP Applications and Projects, VP IT Security and VP Data Management to provide well implemented, supported and secure technology solutions to departments and users across Vibrant.

Minimum Requirements:
-
Four-year degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Management Information Systems or equivalent education and experience. Significant technology solutions leadership experience in a formal or informal role required.

Five years or more experience; or equivalent combination of education, technology/infrastructure management and project management experience.
-
Experience leading a technology infrastructure team in a DNA based financial institution preferred.
