Aon is looking for a Senior Project Manager – M&A Integration
Job Description
Specific responsibilities include:
- Engagement in early stage preparation activities such as due diligence, budget reviews and project planning to ensure integration workstream alignment with deal strategy
- Mobilization of the IMO, conducting workstream pre-reviews and preparation for integration activities
- Set up and management of IMO cadence throughout the phases of integration
- Maintain and disseminate tools, templates and tracking mechanisms to efficiently manage the planning, organization, and coordination of integration activities
- Day-to-day oversight of integration workstreams and the associated plans and deliverables
- Maintain tools within the integration project to track risks, issues and opportunities and define inter-functional dependencies within the integration process
- Leverage of organizational knowledge and internal network to problem solve pressing challenges
- Leadership of special projects, as required
- Capture and documentation of lessons learned
- Functional integration close-out
Requires the following:
- Bachelorâs Degree
- 8+ years of relevant work experience
- 5+ years of project management experience
- Demonstrated excellent problem solving, decision making, and analytic skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with all levels within the corporation and various business units
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders
- Strong Aon IQ is a must
- Ability to work independently and manage projects with an ability to work under pressure to meet specific deadlines
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Strong project management and organizational skills, ability to multi-task with specific attention to detail
