The Scrum Master will be responsible for overseeing new and existing technology projects, working with product owners to understand business goals and translate those into tangible requirements for developers. Candidate will be responsible for the delivery of these projects and will work directly with clients and stakeholders to ensure timelines and quality are being met.
Job functions
- Maintain frequent communication with team members, product owners, management team, and clients
- Work with product owners to gather business goals and requirements and turn them into granular user stories with detailed acceptance criteria
- Create sprints, run stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives
- Track progress and work to create timelines for project completion that can be communicated to the management team and to clients
Required skills
- Scrum Master Certification or similar training
- Proven track record with agile development teams: running sprint stand-ups, planning sessions, demos, and retrospectives
- Experience delivering web applications that run in modern web browsers across desktop, tablet and mobile operating systems
- Excellent oral and written communicate skills; solid group presentation skills
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Experience with Jira is highly desired.
