PUBLIC WORKS SPECIAL PROJECTS MANAGER
Hiring Salary Range: $65,000 – $75,000 DOQ
The City
of Fredericksburg invites you to join our team! We seek a Public Works
Special Projects Manager to provide project management and oversight of
Public Works construction and maintenance projects, capital improvement
projects, and emergency/unplanned projects. Typical types of
construction projects include the installation or repair of streets,
sidewalks, bridges, street lights, drainage structures, retaining walls,
and parking lots. Coordinates with other City departments, VDOT, and
other organizations on projects that directly or indirectly involve the
department.

Prior
experience in public works operations and administration, or projects
management, preferably in a government setting. A Bachelor”s Degree in
Public Administration, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related
discipline, is preferred but not required.
