Job Description: SSAI is seeking a Project Manager to lead technical teams in the successful completion of assigned Task Orders. Areas of support include: network or systems administration, product and algorithm development, integration and test, managing project level contract management, project finance management, and administrative service (document development/technical writing). The individual will assist in all aspects of task- level project performance (i.e., technical, contractual, administrative, financial) and supervise personnel involved in project activity, organizes and assigns responsibilities to subordinates, oversees the successful completion of all assigned tasks, and maintains customer contacts to ensure conformity to contractual obligations.
Required Qualifications:
- BA/BS in computer science, systems engineering, contracts management, financial management, project management, or related area with 10+ years of experience of technical (infrastructure or product/application development and maintenance, contractual, administrative, or financial) experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- 6 – 10 years supervising technical teams
- Experience in fast-paced satellite operations environment supporting a mission critical operation.
- Experience with Network, System, and IT Security Tools such as: Solarwinds, ArcSight, Tenable Security Center/Nessus, Webinspect, Enterprise Continuous Monitoring Operations (ECMO) (currently IBM BigFix), Tripwire Enterprise and Log Center, and Altiris
- Excellent independent judgement and with a high-level of analytical skills in solving non-routine technical, administrative, and managerial problems.
- Requires ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience supporting NOAA systems or satellite operations activities is a plus.
