Job Summary:

The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for all aspects of project delivery for the Glo Fiber operations team. This includes resource management and scheduling, customer relationship management and reporting, materials management and administration and tracking of project finances. PM responsibilities begin with handoff of the project from Sales/Customer and continue until project closeout (issuance of necessary documentation and change order information to Sales for final invoicing, turnover of project as-builts, and customer acceptance of project deliverable). PM is responsible for meeting and beating project budgets and timelines.

Qualifications Requirements:

a. Education: BS degree in related discipline required. Candidates with a strong technical background and substantial industry or military experience will be considered.

b. Experience Level:

i. 5 or more years of experience in telecommunications or structured wiring is required

ii. 3 or more years of project management

c. Special Requirements:

i. Budgeting and financial analysis

ii. PMP, CAPM, or similar certification preferred, but not required

iii. Strong project management experience

d. Skill Requirements:

i. Detail oriented and strong organizational skills

ii. Demonstrated strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills

iii. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

iv. Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously

v. Excellent MS Office Software skills (Excel, Project, Visio, Word, etc.)

Knowledge of:

a. Structured cabling best practices, general construction and MDU environments

b. Experience managing multiple simultaneously

c. Customer-facing experience in a sales, sales engineering, network implementation, or technical support role

d. Experience working with cross-functional teams
