    COMPANY OVERVIEW

    Pura Vida Contracting, LLC provides maintenance, demand services and CapEx construction support to commercial properties throughout Texas and the Southwest with its headquarters in DFW, and hubs in Houston, Austin, and San Antonio. Our primary customers are commercial property managers, facilities managers, service managers, and building owners. We specialize in exterior building repairs, painting, excavation concrete/asphalt, steel/metal fabrication, security, landscaping services and waterproofing, as well as interior improvements and finish outs. Our service department is available 24 x 7 to immediately respond to our customers standard and emergency service requests.

    POSITION OVERVIEW

    The successful candidate will oversee all project management responsibilities. Strong experience in concrete construction is required. Working directly with the Pura Vida Contracting Account Managers and sales team, this position will help develop customer bids/estimates, build project scopes/budgets, and manage subcontractors to complete projects within pre-set timeframes and budgets. Strong communication skills required. This position requires expert knowledge of

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    · Collaborate with account managers, engineers/architects, and contractors on bids

    · Visit job sites to assist in estimate creation and building out scopes of work and budgets

    · Generate purchase orders to procure materials and schedule subcontractor labor

    · Supervise labor hours, work quality, and completion percentage through daily site visits

    · Submit daily photos and updates through project management tracking software

    · Communicate progress and any troubleshooting needs with account managers daily

    · Validate completion on all projects and review invoices for account manager approval

    MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

    Bachelor’s degree preferred and a minimum of 5 years related experience. Previous experience in the construction or facilities management industries is required. Maintaining reliable transportation is also required, preferably truck or SUV. Car allowance included along with base salary. Estimated driving of 300-400 miles per week.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS

    · A minimum of three to five years’ experience in a similar role working in concrete industry

    · Experience in reading plan details including Civil, Architectural, and engineering

    · Existing relationships with industry vendors and labor is a PLUS

    · Knowledge of the construction industry, or similar industry

    · Proficiency in utilizing technology and project management software

    · Must have excellent communication skills (both oral and written)

    · A “can-do” attitude with a positive outlook

    · A team-player with the ability to work well within a small team, with 100% dedication

    · Ability to occasionally travel within the region a plus
