    Title- Project Manager

    Location: Columbia, MD

    This is an excellent opportunity for you to be part of a team of professionals with a history of supporting customers that include DoD and several civilian agencies including HHS, USDA, FEMA and Maryland State Agencies all with exceptional performance evaluations.

    This position will serve as Project Manager and task-lead executing the day-to-day activities of the contract while coordinating closely with the customer.

    Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    · Responsible/accountable for overall performance, quality, delivery, and management of staff for the project.

    · Directs all aspects of the Scope of Work, including outreach, education & training, technical assistance, release management, and project management.

    · Serves as the primary liaison between Client ( Center of Medicare & Medicaid Services), stakeholders, and APV for implementation and ongoing operations of the Project.

    · Facilitates the Kick-Off Meeting, status meetings, and manages all other verbal and written communication with CMS.

    · Other duties as assigned.

    Other Job Functions:

    · Main POC for the Client

    · Staff & Resource Management

    · Project/Client Delivery Management, including risk management

    · Internal & External Reporting

    · Ensures the use of agency, company, and industry best practices (e.g., Project Management, Quality Management, Software Development, etc.)

    Minimum Requirements/Experience:

    · 5+ years of experience managing projects for CMS

    · Knowledge of and experience with software development and HHS development lifecycles (EPLC, SDLC, XLC, etc.)

    · Experience Working in a CMMI Appraised Organization

    · Organized and efficient with excellent time management skills

    · Effective communication skills

    · Strong leadership and team building skills

    · Inspires a shared vision

    · Ability to creatively problem-solve

    · Driven, enthusiastic and competent

    Education:

    · Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline

    Certifications:

    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
