MooreCo is seeking a dynamic Project Manager who will manage customer projects from cradle to grave.

Job Duties:

Initiating:

  • Work with B2D design team to learn about the design of the project.
  • Work with Purchasing on 80% probability quotes to begin forecasting needed components, etc.

Planning:

  • Create the PM plan.
  • Review design
  • Set up part numbers
  • Identify risks with Purchasing
  • Collect requirements for all stakeholders – end-user, customer, MooreCo, vendors
  • Identify time lines

Executing:

  • Satisfy all project specifications
  • Confirm sales order matches project design approved by customer
  • Confirm Purchasing has all product on order
  • Work with Quality group to inspect product during production
  • Communicate project status with stakeholders of job
  • Identify and mitigate issues before they become issues

Monitor and Control:

  • Make sure the project stays on track
  • Follow up with Purchasing to confirm product will arrive or be produced as promised
  • Work with Quality to make sure that product has been inspected
  • Monitor project orders in NetSuite
  • Report progress where needed

Closing and Exit:

  • Make sure the project delivers as promised
  • Confirm with Quality that product is packaged sufficiently to arrive undamaged
  • Work with carriers to deliver product based on the timeline provided
  • Confirm product arrives and is free of damage
  • Provide solutions to any issues that arise
  • Ensure all stakeholders’ needs were met

Requirements:

  • With a Bachelor’s degree, must have 2 years of experience in Project Management in a manufacturing environment
  • Equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered
  • Familiarity with recognized industry standards
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to influence without authority
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented
  • Exceptional organizational and presentation skills with an ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Ability to adapt to changing list of priorities based on needs of the company
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Must be willing and able to work overtime as required

Preferred:

  • Experience with NetSuite

Physical requirements:

  • Ability to use hands to handle or feel.
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 20 lbs without assistance
  • Specific vision requirements include close visual acuity, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, and color vision
