We are seeking an Operations Change Management Manager with demonstrated experience (business, change management, project management) and strong leadership skills to support/lead our commercial change management effort. This role will include planning through execution/adoption, effectively driving change management and transformation efforts to support a wide variety of enterprise and workstream change initiatives.

The ideal candidate will bring bold thinking and thought leadership to developing and executing data-driven and employee-first change management and communications strategies that improve employee awareness, understanding, adoption, and sustainment of enterprise changes. The OCM Manager will also build and execute change management strategies, leading work efforts to improve the absorption of change and realize stated benefits of the change initiative(s). This highly strategic and visible role, will report directly to the Executive Managing Director, and will work closely work with the business group leaders (and their teams), functional/workstream leads (and their teams), and other relevant partners to support the adoption/realization of the enterprise change efforts. The OCM Manager will also be responsible for the planning and execution of all communications, organizational risk assessment as it relates to change management, training, outreach, sponsorship liaison, job transformation, and organizational readiness activities necessary to meet client requirements. Among other duties, the OCM Manager will be able to create an OCM Plan, Communications Plan, Organizational Risk Assessment, Barrier and Risk Assessment and Leadership Action Plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and manage the overall central Change Strategy approach in collaboration with dependent workstreams such as learning, communications, change management risks and stakeholder management
  • Develop and execute a central change strategy implementation and playbook
  • Lead the customization of change plans for each deployment business unit / workstream
  • Clearly define and measure overall change success metrics
  • Engage and align leadership stakeholders through change readiness discussions
  • Perform fit/gap analysis against business needs to identify change impacts and impediments and provide assessments and resolutions to any scheduling issue that may result
  • Leverages change management methodologies to define the change management approach, activities and timelines in partnership with the program/project team and business partners
  • Work across multiple diverse teams and complex projects, including guiding internal stakeholders on employee experience and change management best practices and channels.
  • Prepare for change by identifying impacted stakeholders, assessing the magnitude of change and the organization’s change readiness
  • Identifies, develops and owns mitigations / resolutions for issues, risks, challenges, conflict, etc. across defined enterprise change efforts
  • Create and manage the development and execution of the core elements of change initiatives, including, but not limited to: stakeholder engagement plan/strategy; communications strategy/plan; training strategy/plan.
  • Serve as the Change Management Champion for the organization’s change advocates within the partner community– working closely with the advocates to craft/refine change deliverables such as employee messaging to ensure stakeholder alignment
  • Develop and deliver effective communications at various levels of the organization to ensure engagement/alignment and adoption of change efforts.
  • Support execution of change campaigns aligned with overall change strategy and approach
  • Help the organization understand impacts of change, potentially providing support through process mapping (as-is and to-be).
  • Develop briefings for senior leaders that chart progress of change management efforts

Required:

  • 5+ year Experience leading transformational programs for organizations of 2000+ people
  • Strong written, verbal communications – experienced in using a variety of medium to communicate with a large geographically diverse audience.
  • 3-5 years of broad technology training experience – leading training programs
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Program Management, Communications, Business, Technology, or related field
  • 5 + years of increasing levels of responsibility in business/consulting/human resources. Previous experience delivering large-scale organizational change management, or business transformation consulting to enterprise customers
  • Clear understanding of change management (including a solid understanding of leading and lagging measures of success – Key Performance Indicators, John Kotter’s methodology for change management etc.)
  • Experience working in a cross-functional team to develop a change management strategy
  • Experience in professional environment developing polished presentations, talking points, and content
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills; strong executive presence, including the ability to partner with and effectively influence multiple stakeholders; ability to work with both business and technology stakeholders
  • Creative problem-solving skills, strategic thinker, and high degree of intellectual curiosity
  • Strong understanding of business process modelling / mapping and continuous improvement
  • Experience in organizational design as well as operating & change delivery models is required
  • High proficiency in MS Office tools: Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, MS Teams, SharePoint
  • Be comfortable working closely with senior leadership throughout the organization.
  • Ability to travel to Canada 25%

Desired:

  • Demonstrated experience working with and influencing as part of a team
  • Understanding of Waterfall/Agile project delivery concepts and methods; CSM, CSPO, ITIL certifications a plus
  • Advanced knowledge of organizational change management methodologies, best practices, tools and techniques applied in an IT environment
  • Experience supporting Change Management for COTS/SaaS solution delivery
  • Experience supporting Change Management for Human Capital Management business processes

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Program Management, Communications, Business, Technology, or related field
  • PMP certification and/or ITIL, CSM, CSPO, Agile certifications preferred
