POSITION SUMMARY

The Manager of Social Media manages the implementation and ongoing application of an enterprise-wide social media strategy of Bon Secours Mercy Health system.

JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Work collaboratively with members of Marketing and digital teams, along with other team members across the enterprise to ensure visibility and coverage on high priority areas of the organization.
  • Manage the day-to-day social media presence(s), including key, strategic social media ad campaigns.
  • Implement and execute processes for service recovery, crisis management, and user participation in sponsored online communities.
  • Analyze and report on results of social media efforts across the enterprise.
  • Assist with live, on-site social media coverage go-to for key events, interactive chats, etc.
  • Post messaging with consistent and coordinated tone/look across a multitude of local-level social media profiles
  • Ensure cross-pollination of story/content strategy, so that local-level stories are featured on national/brand-level profiles and vice versa
  • Assist in coordinated brand-level campaigns across the enterprise and all of its channels
  • Work in an agile and nimble fashion to accommodate news pieces, coordinate high-priority and tight turnaround blog story promotion, and the dissemination of these stories in the social media realm
  • Analyze and report results of social media efforts across the enterprise
  • Facilitate positive, useful dialogue on social media
  • Assist in the creation of a formal social media policy and guidelines documentation to lay a foundation for future profile creation, management and maintenance and ensure compliance across the enterprise
  • Manage the day-to-day work of assigned Social Media internal resources


JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Bachelors Degree required. Bachelors Degree In related field such as Marketing, Advertising, Business, Computer Science preferred.
2. 4 – 6 years of related experience
3. Self-Starter required.
