The Project Managerâs responsibilities focus primarily on the planning, execution and finalization of projects according to strict deadlines and within budget within an Agile SDLC methodology. The scope of work requires management of multiple projects simultaneously with close attention to schedule commitments and milestone dates. The PM will create and lead cross-functional teams pertaining to the entire product development and launch cycle and provide scrum master support to teams.
Responsibilities:
Project status and KPIâs reports for executive team members Identifies and develops best practices
Ensures enterprise projects standards are followed
Directs and manages project development from beginning to end
Defines project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
Develops full-scale project plans and associated communications documents
Effectively communicates project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
Estimates the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
Determines and assesses need for additional staff and makes the appropriate recruitments if necessary, during project cycle
Sets and continually manages project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
Delegates tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
Identifies and resolves issues and conflicts within the project team Identifies and manages project dependencies and critical path
Plans and schedules project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
Tracks project milestones and deliverables
Develops and delivers progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations
Determines the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results and troubleshoots problem areas
Proactively manages changes in project scope, identify potential crises and devises contingency plans
Defines project success criteria and disseminates them to involved parties throughout project life cycle
Coaches, mentors, motivates and supervises project team members and contractors and influences them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
Builds, develops and grows any business relationships vital to the success of the project
Conducts project post-mortems and creates a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
Develops best practices and tools for project execution and management
Requirements:
5 years of direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution
2 years of direct work experience in an Agile environment
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial
Demonstrated knowledge of project planning and management skills, including development of metrics, goals and follow up reporting
Proficient with the use of Jira Highly proficient in the use of MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Proficiency with project management software such as Microsoft Project
