HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER

Progressive specialty medical practice in Columbus, MS area seeks a human resources professional to plan, organize, and direct all aspects of human resource functions. Responsibilities will include recruiting, new hire orientation, performance evaluations, counseling, wage & hour rules, safety, employee relations, and compensation & benefits. Ultimately, the human resource manager will help to improve employee productivity and retention by recruiting quality candidates as well as build strong business relationships to positively influence all levels of the organization.

The successful applicant will possess excellent verbal and written communication competence as well as the ability to improve human resource assets to optimize contribution to the company’s strategic and operational performance.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Health Administration or related field, SHRM certification, minimum of five years human resource experience in health care managing 50+ employees, and working knowledge of employment-related laws.
