A ROLE YOU WILL LOVE
This Portfolio Marketing leader is responsible for creating the marketing strategy and overseeing its execution for the portfolio of offerings, including products, services and solutions inside their assigned business unit or segment.
This role reports directly to the Global Business Unit head and oversees or collaborates with regional marketing leaders, the global marketing demand and intelligence centre, sales and commercial operations.
Primary Accountabilities
- Translate the business objectives, market opportunities and portfolio of offerings into a formal, cohesive go-to-market architecture
- Understand target buyer needs, market trends and the competitive landscape
- Owns audience isolation and prioritization
- Owns buyer journey mapping, persona creation and persona enablement
- Partner with leaders across the business to design an aligned set of marketing strategies, tactics and resources that achieve business unit objectives. Owns annual marketing planning for the business
- Provide insight and support to leadership to inform the identification and development of new offerings (products, solutions or services)
- Build the go-to-market plan to support and grow the portfolio of offerings, including prioritizing and aligning target audiences, developing effective messaging and building a content architecture in partnership with the content team
- Work with sales enablement to create a plan and oversee marketing contributions to drive sales’ adoption of the portfolio
- Oversee launch planning for new business offerings
- Provide leadership, direction and mentoring to guide direct reports and other marketing staff in its day-to-day activities
- Conduct routine assessments of the organization’s go-to-market processes and address gaps in performance
- Own regular marketing performance reviews and identification of action items to improve revenue performance

- Increase in MQL’s
- Increase in MQL to SQL conversion
- Increase in SQL to Closed/Won conversion
- Buyer profiles – new and updated
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) or college/university degree
- Considerable experience of senior management within a dynamic matrix organisation, ideally in both a a B2B marketing environment and a consumer marketing environment.
- Organizational design, development and growth strategies for global marketing organizations
- Extensive expertise in all aspects of go-to-market strategy for products, solutions, industries and services
- Ability to translate quantitative data into actionable recommendations
- Experience of working across differing global markets, and business units
- Strong background in digital marketing channels: CRM, web, social and search
- Understanding of Computershare’s key industries and market segments relevant to the organization
- Ability to adapt approach and style to different Markets as appropriate being sensitive to language and cultural differences.
- Excellent leadership skills with ability to inspire and motivate others at all levels within a highly matrixed environment.
- Strong background in business analytics, measurements and dashboards
- Resilient – ability to overcome obstacles and see through plans
- Formal leadership experience overseeing a marketing budget
- Demonstrated success influencing C-level executives and cross-functional leaders
- Strong administrative and management skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple projects, programs and objectives
