POSITION OVERVIEW
In a vast market covering several states, Seegars Fence Company is the largest provider of fencing and barrier security products. The fencing and security construction market is evolving from what was considered mundane to more sophisticated higher end products. Also changing is how we bring these products to market. The Company is excited to take sales and project management to a new level by introducing a new CRM program that will not only help improve the customer’s experience, but improve our efficiency in installation operations. The Seegars Fence Estimator sells as well as manages installation projects throughout our market. One of the cornerstones of our business is our team of over 30 Estimators who approach every day with a winning attitude, great products and unparalleled customer service.

- Be competent in Microsoft Office.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
- Reports To: Branch Manager
- Teams With: Sales Staff, Clerical Staff, Installation Team
- Directs: Installation team members who are performing work sold by you.
POSITION GOAL
Achieve sales and effectively manage over $800,000.00 annually (charge goal will be determined for each individual) with appropriate back-figured profit margins, while focusing on the company’s mission of “Providing quality fence installations and build relationships that last a lifetime.”
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Become an expert on the different product lines and the pros and cons of each system.
- Manage daily installation staff to 1) meet or exceed the needs of the customer and 2) meet or beat the estimated production times associated with each job.
- Become familiar with the different gate systems the company offers and the advantages and disadvantages of each.
- Follow sales plan outline adopted by Seegars Fence Company, and thoroughly present the material outlined in the plan on every qualified sales lead.
- Become familiar with local zoning and code restrictions.
- Understand and anticipate customers’ needs and communicate them to the installation team to ensure performance. Always remember “People don’t care how much you know, till they know how much you care.”
- Become familiar with the special material catalog and be able to write up and process walk-in material sales orders.
- Enter customer information in INFOtrac. The goal of our system is to create a personalized experience that meets our customer’s special needs and exceeds their expectations.
- Manage installation and operating expenses by allocating/utilizing materials for minimal waste, facilitating clean transitions from one job to the next, equipment up keep and maintenance management, and seeking to improve general operating efficiencies.
- Arrive to work on time and dress professionally.
- Must maintain first aid and CPR certification.
- Maintaining a clean and presentable office.
- Must take a minimum of one professional development class per quarter.(to be preapproved by the manager.)
- Play an active role in a community/ civic organization of your choice annually.
- Demonstrate the Seegars Fence Company Core Values daily.
