SUMMARY

Florence Electric is looking to add a full-time experienced Electrical Project Manager to our industry-leading team. The position responsibilities include but are not limited to handling the day to day management of multiple projects, interacting directly with the client, designing the team and the field to successfully accomplish our goal of exceeding our client’s expectations.

REQUIRMENTS

· Licensed Electrician with 3+ years of electrical project management experience

· Experience in Commercial and Industrial Construction

· Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-past environment

· Establishes and builds relationships with customers to ensure complete satisfaction while providing exceptional quality of service

· Experience in planning, installations, layouts, and blueprints

· Manage projects to keep them on time and under budget

· Bid projects/assist with bidding projects based on on-site walk-through and limited information from the customer

· Assist field electricians with troubleshooting and problem solving

· Plan for all labor, material, equipment, and tool needs–utilize appropriate manpower, purchase, and equipment allocation process to maximize operational efficiency

· Informs our CEO and PMs regarding all jobs to include job status, financial updates on standard forms comparing budget/bid to actuals—provide projections through the end of the following month

· Review AP and AR for your respective jobs and assure proper coding, allocation, and payment

· Business Development–develop/enhance customer relationships with frequent follow-up

· Provide a high level of leadership to enhance team-building and respect amongst all employees through a positive attitude and interactive communication

· Communicate effectively with project owners, suppliers, employees, and management

· Promote Safety 1st (training, clean job site, etc.)

· Assist Management as requested (i.e. acquisitions, evaluations of prospective jobs, etc.)

· Must have reliable transportation as travel is required

REQUIRED SKILLS

· Experience with large industrial projects

· Ability to read/understand plans and specifications

· Knowledge of motor controls

· Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude

· Ability to complete assignments on time and on schedule

· Good organizational, multitasking, time management skills

· Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and Bluebeam Studio

· Ability to learn new software if needed
