Position Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead coordination efforts between technology stakeholders and ensure high-quality and accurate reporting and tracking. Evolve internal tools and processes that manage the inspection, remediation, assurance measuring lifecycle activities of IT technologies operated and managed by organizations responsible to McKesson Enterprise.
  • Works closely with ISRM team members, ISRM program management and key business unit representatives responsible for IT support and maintenance of McKesson applications, critical IT systems and services; the Director Remediation Services will identify and present correctives that resolve gaps and improve integration with patch management, asset management and governance programs.
  • Build relationships and become a trusted advisor with BU and technology owners to influence change and drive ownership and accountability for remediating vulnerabilities.
  • Manage a team responsible for executing and driving down vulnerabilities. This extends beyond simply providing reports but understanding the business context, obstacles, and personalities of stakeholders to find solutions and manage escalations where needed.
  • Drive the On-board activities required to complete automated and manual security inspections and remediation reporting for applications and IT systems.
  • Partner with business unit security and IT leads and Business Unit Security Officers to help effectively and efficiently drive the resolution of issues that impede the speed of security reviews and approval of remediation plans.

Minimum Requirements

Typically has 12 years of experience with 4 years managerial experience

Critical Skills

  • 6 – 10 years Security experience
  • 6 – 10 years in IT Information Technology
  • Incident Response to Cyber-Events experience
  • Leadership Capability to Create new Enterprise Standards and have them accepted
  • Expert level knowledge of Remediation Services
  • Expert level knowledge of Security
  • Demonstrated experience effectively leading and managing collaborative, service management solutions across disparate functional teams
  • Experience successfully delivering programs and/or multiple projects on-time and within budget based on agreed upon scope and business goals
  • Experience in risk assessment, audit, and IT security assessments
  • Familiar with compliance regulations, IT, security frameworks and standards (i.e. NIST 800, HIPAA, PCI, SOX, HITRUST, NERC CIP, NIST CSF, ISA/IEC 62443, ISO 27000 Series, PCI/DSS, GDPR))
  • Ability to lead global and diverse teams in project delivery of complex OT Security projects in varying degrees depending on project complexity and geography needs
  • Knowledge of leading practice incident management processes.

Additional Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge of the healthcare and software industries, including USON and Proton Centers
  • CISA, CISSP or other similar professional designations
  • Knowledge of the Scaled Agile framework.
  • Knowledge of ITIL service methodology.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare and software industries.

Education

4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
