5 Tasks & responsibilities:
  • Assess and plan Product Roadmap and schedule with CEO and Directors
  • Coordinate, delineate, and assign engineering/technical work (frontend/backend/devops) to align with Product Roadmap
  • Coach and work alongside other engineering team members to strategize, troubleshoot, debug, and improve the platform.
  • Write well-designed, testable code, and commit work via GitHub in team agile, collaborative, engineering environment leading weekly sprints leading the team by example
  • Continuously increase knowledge and skills (including relevant codebase languages)

5 Skills & experience the candidate must have:
  • Full-stack programming experience on a platform serving at least thousands of users (Ruby on Rails and/or React).
  • Minimum 7 years working in agile team-oriented development environment (1) with delivery experience (2) with peer code reviews
  • Minimum 1 year project management experience leading a team (8-10 or more people) to achieve quality results on time.
  • Strong familiarity with SQL/RDBMS (Postgres is a plus).
  • Bachelor’s degree (computer science, math, or related field a plus)

Compensation:
  • $130,000 – $170,000 based on experience
  • Unlimited PTO w/ 18 day per year minimum
  • Remote work from CA, FL, LA, MD, OH, TX, or WA

Organization:
You will lead our Engineering team as part of the Product team. The Product and Growth teams are operated by our CEO and Directors of Design, Engineering, Marketing, and Success respectively.
