David Taylor Design is a full-service creative and marketing company located in Cedar Knolls, NJ. We specialize in website design and development, SEO, graphic/print design, and marketing strategy. We’re a small but growing company looking for a rockstar to join our fun, creative, and hardworking team.

WHO:

WHAT:

The Digital Project Manager is responsible for the management and coordination of various web, copywriting, and graphic design projects and to ensure they’re completed in a timely and professional manner.

Some of the responsibilities include:

  • Managing and prioritizing multiple projects on a daily/weekly basis
  • Managing inbound client requests
  • Assigning tasks and deadlines to appropriate team members
  • Scheduling “check-ins” with clients to meet project deadlines
  • Attend current and potential client meetings
  • Collaborate/Create Scope of Work estimates
  • Conduct client screen shares and training
  • QA (Quality Assurance) testing of websites
  • Strictly following process outlined in our Project Management tool, Asana
  • Tracking all time spent on projects (emails, research, client updates, etc.)
  • Answering phones

NECESSARY SKILLS:

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Intermediate knowledge of terminology for web and design (ex: URL, domain name, .jpeg, web server, HTML, API, etc.)
  • Experience using design software such as Photoshop
  • Customer Service & client Expectation Management
  • Microsoft Office
  • Gmail

SKILLS THAT WOULD GIVE YOU A LEG UP ON YOUR COMPETITION:

  • Moderate to Intermediate experience working with WordPress and other CMS platforms
  • Web Project Management Experience
  • Comfortable using project management software
  • Motivated to help find ways to make our company more efficient, fun, and profitable!
  • The desire to grow your skills and to determine your “path and passion” within the company (ex: writing, coding, marketing, SEO, social media, other?)

WHEN:
We are currently collecting and reviewing resumes and will be looking to schedule initial phone interviews the first week of December 2019 with the final candidate selection to be made between December 15th, 2019 and January 15th, 2020.
