Job Summary

This is an opportunity to assist with the H-D Owners Group in the US for Harley-Davidson. Celebrating 37 years, the H-D Owners Group is the world’s largest manufacturer sponsored motorcycle owners’ group with hundreds of thousands of members in the US.

The official riding club of Harley-Davidson is a national organization that also has over 600 local chapters throughout the country and is open to anyone who owns a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. The local chapters are sponsored by Harley-Davidson dealerships and connect individuals with a shared passion for the sport of motorcycling. It seeks to not just promote the Harley-Davidson brand, but celebrate the subculture and lifestyle that comes with riding. Reporting to the Harley-Davidson Owners Group Lead, this position will work within a designated region to act as the link between local, regional, and national H-D Owners Group events, partnerships, and dealers. In addition, this role will be responsible for maximizing the H-D Owners Group customer experience, fueling the passion and commitment of members, and ultimately growing membership.

Job Responsibilities
  • Strategy Implementation
    • Work with the other Regional Project Managers to help implement the strategic direction of H-D Owners Group in the US and alignment with other Marketing functions.
  • Event Planning and Execution

    • Work with the other Regional Project Managers to conceptualize, plan, and implement chapter activities and events, and partnering with the Motor Company’s Risk, Compliance, and Legal departments to ensure events go off without a hitch.
  • Officer Training

    • H-D Owners Group Officers are certain dealership staff members and local chapter volunteer leaders. This team is responsible for the support and execution for training these officers to ensure local chapters remain focused on riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles and having fun!
  • Dealer and Chapter Relationship Management

    • This role will support the activities of the Group by building trusted relationships with Chapters, volunteer Chapter leaders, Harley-Davidson dealers and members within their designated region
  • Administration

    • This includes acting as the primary point of contact for members, volunteers, and dealers within the designated region. This role will also be responsible for various publications related to US H-D Owners Group activities, managing the annual renewal process for members, and oversight for the Customer Relationship Management system used to manage and protect members’ information.

You may be required to travel between 35-50% throughout the year.


Education Specifications

A bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field is highly preferred.

This position typically requires five (5) years of experience highlighting:
