Assistant Vice President, Engineer

DB Global Technology Inc. seeks an Assistant Vice President, Engineer in 3000 Centre Green Way, Cary, NC 27513 to install and modify computer programs and systems to improve work flow/performance. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related or equivalent and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience handling installation, deployment, configuration and administration of applications on Cluster of servers. Must include five (5) years of progressively responsible experience supporting deployment of applications on Linux platform; providing high level availability for applications in order to minimize down time; reviewing log files when troubleshooting incidents; performing change management and incident management; implementing upgrades of messaging applications on Linux Platform; implementing processes to generate alerts for failed services; provisioning security controls; monitoring and troubleshooting issues related to OS memory, CPU, Storage, and Network; provisioning and handling multi-tenant clusters; deploying new software environments; and in executing duties, utilizing AD / LDAP, TLS / SSL, PKI, Shell, Redhat Linux, OEL, and Shell scripting. #DNI
