Doran Jones is actively seeking a proven Agile SCRUM Master to support our Consulting/project-based initiative with our Financial Services Client. Charlotte, NC or New York City are possible work locations. The project could be multi-year in nature and entails building out a number of Analytics MicroServices for our Client.

This Agile SCRUM Master will be responsible for helping to set up, shape, manage, and drive project delivery. DJ will be providing strategic consulting, design, analysis, development and testing services to build out of provisioning and operational services to fulfill the requirements as set out by the program. The engagement will also entail: Continuous Delivery using DevOps and QA Automation and other Agile engineering principles. A key methodology will be DataOps or data operations.

Required skills and experience/knowledge:

    • Ability to work well within and across teams and organize and coordinate as needed.
    • Experience driving and managing technical projects within Financial Services, with Capital Markets and/or Risk & Risk Regulatory Compliance experience being highly desired.
    • Sharp communication skills and style with the ability to interface with our Client across multiple levels.

This body of work entails closely with our Developers, Business Analyst, DevOps, and QA Automation resources throughout the buildout of the Analytics environment. The Tech stack includes:

  • Java 8
  • Microservices
  • Docker
  • Spring Boot
  • Database platforms being SQL Server, Teradata, Oracle
  • Hadoop (Big Data) platform, with Map Reduce and Spulunk
  • NOSQL and other unstructured data forms

Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
