Job Description:
Spiceology is looking to hire a VP of Marketing to oversee, develop, and employ various marketing initiatives and go-to-market efforts to achieve our long- and short-term organizational goals. This individual should have a successful track record of establishing and leading marketing strategy in a dynamic and fast-growing environment, and experience with early-stage companies in rapid growth mode. The ideal candidate has significant expertise in B2B marketing, is an excellent manager of people and projects, and wants to roll up their sleeves and make things happen. The individual will report to the CEO and will be a member of the Spiceology Executive Team.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the CEO and executive team to define, implement and manage the marketing strategy & budget
  • Collaborate with partner marketing organizations to drive awareness and lead generation
  • Manage and optimize the spiceology.com eCommerce website
  • Strong verbal and written skills and ability to manage corporate communications and public relations
  • Develop sales readiness tools for our inside and outside sales representatives

Education/Experience:

  • BA degree in Marketing or related field
  • 12+ years of experience in marketing with at least 6+ years in B2B marketing
  • 6+ years leading a marketing team of at least 5 individual contributors
  • 2+ years in any aspect of the hospitality industry is desired, but not required
  • Deep experience, both as an individual contributor and as a manager, across social media, email marketing, paid advertising, UGC and design
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills for managing and measuring Marketing KPIs
  • A deep love of food and a strong desire to help people around the world to enjoy eating more

Compensation Package

  • The head of marketing will have a competitive base salary and quarterly bonus potential and will be eligible to receive a stock option grant, all commensurate with early-stage companies
