Company
Altis Biosystems has developed a patent-pending stem cell platform, recreating the small and large human intestinal epithelium for compound screening and microbiome research. Our market is to assist pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies in reducing the cost and time of drug discovery by providing a platform that more closely replicates the human bodyâs native biology. This should also reduce the need for animal testing.
Altis sells its platform through a hybrid business model, providing contract research services and selling it at a product. Altis provides a wide variety of assay services, including permeability, protein/gene expression, toxicology, transport, co-cultures, immunohistochemistry, high-content imaging, and more.
