Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
- Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of project, and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project managers.
- Confers with project managers to outline workplan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
- Directs and coordinates activities of project managers to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
- Reviews status reports prepared by project managers and modifies schedules or plans as required.
- Prepares project reports for management, client, or others.
- Confers with project managers to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.
- Coordinates project activities with activities of government regulatory or other governmental agencies.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Directly supervises 4 to 6 employees in the Project Management. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Publisher, Outlook, Internet Explorer).
- Trello knowledge is a plus.
Physical Demands
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
Work Environment
- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions and extreme heat. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals and extreme cold. The employee is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
