Senior Evaluation Manager

Based in downtown Brooklyn and the Hunts Point section of the Bronx, HOPE operates with 50 full time staff and numerous part-time staff, interns and volunteers. Our FY 20 operating budget is approximately $7 million. The Position:
This cross-functional administrator, analyst, and trainer role supports the organization and our systems in a fundamental way. We are seeking a seasoned data and evaluation professional with a passion for project management, an ability to work collaboratively across teams, and enthusiasm for building an organizational culture of data to drive economic mobility for New York Cityâs most vulnerable adults.
Essential Functions:
- Partner across teams to produce timely and accurate data reports for public and private grants, performance evaluations and other recurring outputs; identify opportunities to automate and streamline processes
- Lead collaborations with program, development and venture teams on needs assessments as well as development and implementation of processes to drive stronger data collection, management and reporting (including reports, dashboards, process flows and others); identify opportunities for system integration across teams
- Improve functioning of existing Salesforce system through upgrades to Lightning, leveraging CRM functionality and other opportunities
- Document all Salesforce processes, resulting in a comprehensive data and evaluation manual
- Develop, implement and evaluate compelling trainings for professionals at varying levels of data fluency
- Analyze data to facilitate adaptive management
- Explore opportunities to leverage additional evaluation with regard to donor engagement, social media effectiveness
- Serve as primary point of contact for Salesforce.com and related vendors; manage staff licenses
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience with data management, transformation, cleaning and de-duplication
- Experience training others on using technology and managing data
- Experience as a Salesforce administrator (preferred) or a power user familiar with systems administration
- Strong work ethic, enthusiasm, sense of humor, creativity, flexibility, and patience
