Maxar is seeking a Security Manager who will be responsible for Government Program Operations Management related to program facilities and program security. This position directs all operations and security efforts that impact the success of U.S. Government contract acquisition and contract execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and administer the Industrial Security Facility Security Officers (FSO), facility/program inspections across Maxar audits, and investigations across Maxar.
  • Ensure that security staff members are trained and adhere to the policies outlined in the procedures manual.
  • C ompletion of SF86/eQIP packages, fingerprinting, preparation of visit authorization letters, use of JPAS, use of Scattered Castles and coordination with customer security representatives to process security clearance requirements.
  • Protect classified government information, monitor security procedures, ensuring compliance with all aspects of the program including personnel, physical and administrative security systems,
  • Develop and implement procedures and coordinate procedure manual revisions.
  • Conduct security briefings and develop and conduct security education programs.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have a current/active TS/SCI
  • Requires 7 years of program security experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree OR 4 additional years of experience
  • FSO certification
  • CPSO certification or be willing and able to complete within a year

  • Industrial security experience and general working knowledge of the NISPOM, ICDs, and JAFANs.

  • Experience with JPAS, e-QIP, SIMS (or equivalent system), NISS, and DISS.

  • Supervisory experience and demonstrated an ability to communicate effectively both in written and oral.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Completion of DCSA correspondence courses.
  • Working knowledge of Automated Information Systems accreditation.
