Job Summary

Responsible for the operational and financial performance of assigned contract(s); serves as a liaison for the Client and Armor Staff; provides fiscal and operational oversight for a multi-million dollar health care delivery system. Further, oversees and reviews all clinical services quality and delivery to ensure adherence to contract requirements and accreditation standards.
Essential Functions

  • Directs and coordinates administrative functions and enforces adherence to federal, state, correctional health care standards and institutional regulations and guidelines in the provision of services.
  • Directs interaction with appropriate Corporate, Client and Facility personnel to ensure positive client interactions.
  • Reviews audits conducted by corporate resources, Client Contract Monitors and outside agencies to determine the clinical and administrative performance.
  • Develops and ensures the completion of appropriate corrective action plans to any deficiencies identified in audits conducted.
  • Analyzes financial information provided from corporate reports and addresses identified issues with appropriate staff.
  • Develops, negotiates, and monitors budgets for several multi-site health care systems and all non-hospital site subcontracts.
  • Counsels, coaches, develops and disciplines employees as needed.
  • Responsible for making final decisions related to employee termination in conjunction with Corporate Human Resources Department.
  • Exercises discretion and independent judgments in the decision making process, planning, directing, conserving and controlling the management of her/his system.
  • Respond to requests from Security Staff as well as Armor Staff in accordance with Armor and Facility Guidelines. This includes following the rules and regulations for employee conduct/behavior and chain of command set forth by the command staff at all times while working within the detention/correctional facility.
  • Ensures Armor patient care standards are maintained in compliance with accreditation regulations by leading site management in the development, evaluation, implementation, and monitoring of appropriate delivery systems.
  • Provides training, mentoring and direction to site managers in the areas of budget, personnel, client relations and leadership skills. Develops team work and synergy at site level to enhance overall operational performance.
  • Leads strategic planning efforts at each site to enhance performance, grows profits and improves systems over the contract cycle.
  • Recruits, appoints and sets compensation levels for all of the regions management and provider staff in conjunction with Corporate Human Resources and Finance.
  • Responds to, evaluates and finds resolution for all non-medical site management issues. (Employee relations, budget control, client relations, etc.)
  • Functions as project manager for new business start-ups.
  • Provides assistance and back-up coverage for corporate marketing efforts as required.
  • Monitors the performance of subcontracted support services (lab, mental health, dental, infectious waste disposal, etc.) and works with contracted vendors to address any noted deficiencies.
  • Reports identified subcontractor/network provider payment issues to appropriate individuals.
  • The incumbent will have access to and be responsible for Proprietary or confidential information and HIPAA material including, but not limited to: Company policies, practices, procedures, forms, training materials, employee records, compensation, benefits packages, patient records, computer software, database information, passwords, corporate plans and strategies, etc…
