Quality Assurance Manager

Software Testing – Software testing is a process, to evaluate the functionality of a software application with an intent to find whether the developed software met the specified requirements or not and to identify the defects to ensure that the product is defect free in order to produce the quality product.

Over 10 years of QA/Software testing lead experience

Passion and experience for maintaining a high-quality bar and ownership

Ability to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous tasks

Ability to learn and adapt quickly

Ability to tackle challenging work independently or in a team environment

Demonstrates strong quantitative, analytical and conceptual thinking skills

Lead the test team of 10 testers

Must work well within a time sensitive environment

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with Customer Stakeholders and Developers, product teams, BA, Product manager, Tier II and testers

Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand the step-by-step process required to develop and maintain quality service

Maintain excellent relationships with both customers and other contractors

Provide KPI ( Key Performance Indicator) reports to Management as to the status and progress of the Regression testing, and Release items

Generate post release metrics and distributes to the product teams and government leads

Analyzes development and test artifacts for completeness and quality

Works with Development Leads and test team to correct deficiencies

Serve as an escalation point of contact for Tier II

Must be familiar with 508 compliance testing

Develop and maintain quality strategies with each release

Oversee the preparation of production releases

Release manager from the quality perspective

Work with Customer experience team (CX) to ensure the production issues are resolved in a timely manner

Generate quality metrics on production reported issues

Carry out hands on software testing as needed

Familiar with Service manager and JIRA

Monitor production issues and work with the team to implement corrective plans

After every production critical incident, conduct after action with the product teams

Provide adhoc quality metrics to the government leads

Implement or update processes for the test team such as Test strategy, Requirement review process form testing perspective, Bug Write up,

Implement test automation for the regression testing

Reviews all documentation/artifacts for quality and sufficiency of completeness

Performs risk assessments and creates risk registers with mitigation recommendations

Help with requirement reviews and ensure the requirements met quality gates

Oversee the successful completion of the regression and release cycles

Supporting and enhancing the QA methodologies to ensure delivery of predictable, high-quality product releases.

Development & review of Integration, automation & performance test plans to perform measure and certify the product quality

Develops and implements software/systems testing standards and procedures, and coordinates testing.

Document and analyzes test results, and makes recommendations to improve overall quality.

Qualifications:

10 Plus years direct experience as a tester for major application integration and/or major application product release.

Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software testing solutions.

Strong knowledge of system testing and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.

Proven experience with Agile Dev Methodologies

Good project skills and/or substantial exposure to project-based work structures.

Degree: Bachelors Degree in a related field preferred.
