    Looking for a career in technology? Get your foot in the door working for our CEO as a personal assistant and get exposed to the inner workings of an early-stage startup. Aptly is seeking an energetic, organized, self-starter to help our founder manage the various administrative and personal tasks, while learning the ins-and-outs of our business/industry.

    About You…

    We’re looking for a candidate that’s highly motivated and able to get things done without a ton of oversight. You’ve got to be willing to wear many hats and shift between tasks to help out where you are needed. You’ll learn everything from sales, marketing, product and more…so curiosity is essential for success. If you’ve got great attention to deal, consider yourself a great problem solver, and can organize small and large tasks…this is the role for you!

    Your Role

    As the Personal Assistant to the CEO, you will be responsible for the following:

    • Our resident expert and go-to person for general inquiries/requests on company policies and general info
    • Provide administrative support to our CEO and various members of the Aptly team
    • Manage the CEO and team schedules for both internal and customer events
    • Coordinate travel for the CEO and team
    • Payroll, human resources, and benefits administration tasks
    • Bookkeeping tasks related to the management of accounts payable/accounts receivable
    • Manage expense reports and track reimbursement status
    • Manage communication with Board and investors
    • Manage aspects of CEO’s personal tasks & deadlines

    Required Qualifications:

    • Ability to work independently (our team is remote), exercise initiative, solve problems proactively and use sound judgment when making decisions.
    • Positive attitude and good with people
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written (bonus for being a great writer)
    • Trustworthy and high integrity
    • Ability to exercise discretion in handling a variety of confidential materials
    • Appreciate having flexible hours
    • Ability to adapt quickly to changing needs and priorities
    • College degree preferred
    • Great with technology with an emphasis on researching on the web, using MS Office and communication tools like Slack, Skype, and Zoom.
