The Memory Care Director is responsible for overseeing the care for our residents while maintaining compliance with state and federal guidelines, as well as corporate policies. Care is specifically tailored to each resident’s needs. Our philosophy in our memory care unit is to jump “In the Moment” with our residents and provide activities that are vital to enriching each of their lives. We are currently looking for a dedicated licensed nurse, with a passion for senior living to oversee a 40 bed memory care unit.
The Memory Care Director works closely with our management team and is the leader of his or her care team. The person selected for this position serves as a leader and role model to staff. they are willing to work side by side with their team to coach and guide them in providing quality care for our residents.
Responsibilities include clinical oversight for each of the residents, create and implement resident specific plans of care, nurse delegation, supervise caregivers and medication aides, conduct continued training with staff, communicate and build relationships with residents and their family members and collaborate with other healthcare professionals in the community.
