We are in the process of expanding our leadership team, and hiring across sales, marketing and product to support our continued growth.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for all aspects of marketing, including Marketing Communications and Branding, Demand Generation, Content and SEO. You will also be tasked with creating messages that help establish our company’s position as a leader in the market. You must understand the relationship between Marketing and Sales, as you will be working with key executive leaders on the Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams. You will work closely with a CTO who cares about and understands the importance of Marketing. You will have the opportunity to work and operate independently, while also having the support of the CEO & CTO to roll out aggressive strategies for aggressive growth.
For this position, you will need to have a strong understanding of:
Marketing, Enterprise Software, SaaS, Startup, B2B, Demand Generation, SEO, SEM, SMM
You will:
- Work closely with sales teams on lead conversion, nurture strategies to drive pipeline activity.
- Optimize against key metrics including CTR, open rates, revenue lift, engagement, and retention.
- Develop a campaign theme calendar and identify the tactics to be developed to support each theme
- Manage a process of iterative A/B testing to continually improve performance through optimized messaging and targeting.
- Develop and report success metrics for defined marketing initiatives.
Skills & Knowledge:
- 5+ years of marketing experience, preference given to SaaS marketing experience.
- Experience in demand generation, specifically: creating and executing demand generation and retention campaigns, understanding target audience, developing new themes, identifying the message, deploying sales tactics, and working with sales and sales enablement teams.
- Experience managing team members and freelancers.
- Experience collaborating with sales, product, and operations teams.
- Experience balancing creativity with an analytical approach to demand gen
- Experience running and implementing ad campaigns
- A sense of urgency and a desire to drive results and make things happen, both on your own and by harnessing the resources of other teams.
- Excellent grasp of B2B marketing, B2B selling concepts, and the sales pipeline.
- Comprehensive knowledge of a B2B SaaS marketing and sales funnel a plus.
- Experience with CRM automation tools (e.g. Hubspot), marketing automation platforms, email marketing, and analytic tools
- A quick learner with an ability to adapt and thrive in a high growth start-up environment
- Positive attitude, team-oriented, energetic, and optimistic.
- Previous experience at a SaaS Startup Preferred
