District Support Manager
The Manager of School District Support reports to the Chief Program Officer and will partner with school districts to improve school quality and increase access for students who will thrive in a start-up atmosphere. The Manager is essentially a servant leader role that works closely with district and campus leaders, as well as external support partners.
He or she will focus in areas including instructional capacity-building and talent to accelerate progress in school districts in various high-impact ways. The Manager is dedicated to improvement in access to high-quality schools and overall student achievement.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Directly support district and campus leaders for successful strategic implementation.
- Provide technical expertise and strategic problem solving.
- Identify district expectations.
- Create and lead the process of partnership establishment with existing organizations.
- Manage the recruitment and creation of new quality partners.
- Head the process of partner matching.
- Manage a portfolio of existing partners.
- Ensure clear project plan and data systems to track inputs and outcomes.
- Conduct monthly partner check-ins to ensure strong implementation.
- Monitor progress using data tools for partner trackers.
- Communicate regularly with partners.
- Contribute to and engage in Quarterly Reviews with districts.
- Coordinate initiatives to increase efficiency, eliminate redundancy, and alignment.
- Manage the process of determining expansion plans for partners.
Skills Experience Required:
- A proven track record of developing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Flexible in changing environments with a start up atmosphere.
- Ability to perform data collection, analysis and research.
- Make informed decisions.
- Experience managing multiple projects.
- Ability to manage teammates and stakeholders on short-term projects.
