Minimum qualifications:
- BS degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Multiple years of proven work experience leading software development teams.
- Knowledge of Amwayâs Sales and Marketing Plan
- Extensive working knowledge of multiple computing platforms and architectures, software applications packages, and programming tools
- Demonstrably successful experience in managing and developing multiple applications systems supporting diverse operations and customers
- Proven experience creating, launching, and managing products/capabilities at scale
- Broad-based leadership and business management skills
- Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English.

In this role, you will manage a portfolio of agile cross-functional product delivery teams and managers, dedicated to working with Latin America to design and implement solutions that support the strategy.
The Americaâs IT ABO Solutions team plays an integral role in delivering solutions directly for our customers and colleagues throughout North, Central and South America. You will be joining a team of Engineers, Solution Architects, and Business Systems Analysts that are making transformative changes throughout the Americas region.
As the Manager of the Latin America team, it will fall to you to ensure that the team flourishes under your leadership as they design, development and support of market business-critical applications and services, including financial applications relating to ABO finance, supply chain systems (ACS, etc.) and other strategic ABO platforms.
You will provide leadership in both long and short-term planning as well as develop and implement the strategy and vision as it relates to IT solutions within your defined areas. You will manage a multi-million dollar budget and will be responsible for hiring, developing, and managing your staff, which would include roughly 6 direct reports and as many as 20 indirect reports.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with key business partners to provide input on how IT can help support strategic objectives and solve business problems. Primary business partner for all leadership positions in Latin America.
- Understand the direct sales industry outside of Amway to provide innovative solutions as well as industry best practices to Amway.
- Plan, organize and manage the activities of professional support staff engaged in the delivery of software applications to meet current and future business needs of the organization, including, but not limited to:
- Global specifications gathering.
- Analysis and functional design of possible software solutions.
- Solution development and delivery lifecycle.
- Agile team design and product management.
- Configuration of purchased software applications.
- On-the-ground support for systems installations in international markets.
