North Lawndale College Prep (NLCP) is a coed, public charter high school with two

- Strong oral and written communication skill
- Executive Assistant experience strongly preferred
JOB GOAL
To assist the President in administration of the network’s affairs to provide maximum educational services.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES *other duties may be assigned.
Board Responsibilities:
- Initiate and prepare agendas for all Board of Education meetings.
- Attend Board meetings; take and write minutes.
- Arrange logistics for all Board activities and provide appropriate notifications.
- Publish Board meeting dates and notices.
- Publish and post current roster of Board members.
- Maintain official files of Board meetings and assist auditors with Board information as requested.
Assisting in President’s Duties:
- Work with President in carrying out the day-to-day operations necessary to the smooth operation of the network.
- Write correspondence as directed by the President.
- Handle staff requests for various information.
- Maintain filing systems, supplies and forms for the office.
- Maintain President’s calendar.
Financial Responsibilities:
- Responsible for purchasing supplies and materials for the Board and President’s office.
- Responsible for processing invoices for payment for all Board and President’s expenses.
- Monitor expenses within budgeted amounts and make recommendations for changes in budget amounts.
