Hometown Folks is Chattanooga’s only locally owned and operated Burger King Franchisee. We operate 23 restaurants in Chattanooga and surrounding areas and are expanding! Currently, we are looking for a proven Above Restaurant Leader with a service attitude to join our team of restaurant professionals. The position involves managing multi-unit (4-6) restaurant operations and staff while being responsible for your district’s financial performance and overall store operations.

District Manager Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Effectively and efficiently manage district within policies and guidelines of Burger King and Hometown Folks.
  • Ensure food safety standards are met in each supervised unit through direct observation and food safety audits.
  • Ensure management teams are properly trained.
  • Confirm marketing initiatives are in place and implemented. Responsible for helping restaurant management execute marketing plans to drive year over year sales growth.
  • Guarantee restaurant managers follow and manage cash controls, security procedures, and inventory controls.
  • Coaches restaurant managers to take specific corrective action to meet or achieve margin and sales growth targets through systematic shift management tools, food and labor cost controls, scheduling, and ordering.
  • Conducts periodic business reviews and meetings with restaurant managers to identify and drive strategies to close performance gaps.
  • Lead and support management and crew to ensure 100% guest satisfaction at all times.
  • Effectively recruit and maintain management staffing levels.
